Rowena began her career in the hair industry over 18 years ago and has worked primarily on Chagrin Boulevard and in the Beachwood area prior to opening her first salon in Streetsboro: Studio Wish.

When asked why she chose Streetsboro she said, "This area really needed a 'Fashion Forward' educationally focused salon. Our studio looks and feels as if you are in N.Y. City! Our clientele has grown rapidly and every month we have new clients spilling in the doors! It has been an amazing whirlwind of excitement and a joy to be in such a growing area. Our clientele Loves US and we love THEM!"

Rowena started her educational career working for colour manufacturer Actyva and became an educator for a large chain of salons. Exploring other avenues of hair, she joined Graham Webb in 1998 as part of the National Design team. She traveled the United States representing Graham Webb on stage sharing innovative education in hair and the most outstanding looks for the season.

Rowena has won several Awards in her career and has won "Best Educational Presentation" for her stage work. By example, her salon is an educationally motivated team of designers. Her salon has been pictured in Salon Today Magazine during the "Salon of the Year 2001" contest. Studio Wish was also named one of the "Top 200 Salons" in Salon Today Magazine 2005 and 2006.

Representing Mantra she now shares her business skills with other salon owners and managers to help them better their business practices and grow the beauty industry as a whole. "Working together for one common goal is what it is all about."

Rowena has also traveled with "Jane's Addiction" Lollapalooza Tour in Chicago, Detroit and Cleveland to style Dave Navarro's hair. Other celebrities in her chair: Tonya Walker-Davidson, Wilma Smith, Allison Alexander & Andrea Thome.
